The dental implant procedure
The process starts with an initial consultation, x-rays and study models, after which your dentist prepares a treatment plan and its costs. Osseointegration, where the implant fuses with the bone, usually takes about four to six months, during which a temporary restoration is worn. Finally, impressions are taken of the integrated implant to create your permanent crown or bridge.
