Invisalign
Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable, customised aligners to guide your teeth into place gradually. The aligners must be worn at least 22 hours a day, removed only for eating and oral hygiene.
Who is a good candidate?
If you thought you might need metal braces, you are probably a good candidate for Invisalign too. It suits teenagers with orthodontic issues who might be self-conscious about braces, patients with spacing or crowding issues, patients who find traditional braces a nuisance to clean around, and anyone with otherwise healthy teeth and gums who is not a smoker.

The process
Your dentist creates a three-dimensional model of your mouth using x-rays, digital images and teeth impressions, used to create a personalised plan to move your teeth into position. A series of clear aligners is then manufactured for you, with your dentist providing a new set every two weeks.
